3.50 Firmware Jailbroken by X3Max

Logic-Sunrise is reporting some exciting and very important news. Team X3 has successfully managed to jailbreak a 3.50 firmware console, with no need to downgrade to 3.41. The two questions posed by this exciting news are: Will games like Gran Turismo 5 work? and is this update going to be free for X3Max users? I have an upgraded PS3 and I may check into this, if I do I'll report back here and let everyone know.
