Get dummy from ixtreme

My question is, I have an Xbox 360 74850c that has been flashed before. It wasn't done by me and that guy just happened to lose the key, now I want to upgrade it to LT+ 1.1. I was wondering if I could press get dummy bin from ixtreme and just use that bin/key to flash the drive. Thank you.

if it was flashed with lt before and you havent the key you will have to do the mra hack to get the key ,there is plenty of info on this site on how to do it,hope this helps

if it was flashed with LT firmware then no that will not work
you will have to do the mra trace cutting hack
if it was a older flash just ixtreme firmware
then yes that will work
keep in mind to save the dang key
because after you flash in LT+ firmware you WILL NOT be able to get your key without doing the mra trace cutting hack
if you have your dummy file
then you will just build your new firmware with that each time and not have to worry about dumping your drive again.

It was flashed about 1 year ago, so it should be just ixtreme right. That means I could just get dummy bin.

that would be the first thing to try when you get jungle flasher to see the drive then you would click the dump from ixtreme
or something like that
it maybe dummy from ixtreme
wrong pc to open jungle

Im going to say that it has firmware 1.61, how do I check for sure and how will I know if I get a good key from dummy from ixtreme.

you will just hook it up
make sure you are on the right port and that jungle see the drive
then hit intro
after that get done (just a few sec)
you would hit dummy from ixtreme
if it works
you will have to save some stuff to your pc
then i would stop
reopen jungle flasher
open the dummy file and just look at the key
as long as its a a lot of different letters and numbers it good
you cant hurt the drive by just trying to dump the firmware
when you go to erase is when your are taking chances
