Hi people
very new to all this. I have a lite on drive i went through the process with jungle flasher and got my dummy keys. however when i went to write to the drive it stuck at writing blank 0. i have tried to lite on erase and rewrite a few times but it keeps getting stuck at the same place.
I understand i may be able to fix this with iprep. i followed the guide and made a bootable usb with iprep 12. i made the folder 1234567 and 12345 and placed my custom key there. when i boot into iprep i follow the commands on screen but it keeps telling me my commands are invalid. im pretty sure im missing something simple. if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
i have a sata 6421 card.
cheers

Hanging at writing whatever bank is usually due to your sata port, so if your via has multiple port's you can try switching.
iPrep should fix this also.
What version of iPrep as you using? What command's are you using?

If you know for sure your CFW that you placed in the 1234567 12345 folder is good then you need to go in and rename it to L74CFW then when you boot iprep just use the command L74 1234567 12345 W then the drive should write that CFW that you put in the 1234567 12345 folder make sure you make a copy of your dummy.bin file and copy that to disk and save it email it to your self also

You need to start JF up use your dummy.bin file as source load the LT+ as target then hit spoof as then save that file it creates for you, then go to where you just saved that file and rename that file as L74CFW.bin then place this renamed file on the usb stick of iprep, folder 1234567 12345 then Using Iprep V12 not 12.1 not 12.2 you dont need to load any FW Just boot Iprep up L74 1234567 12345 W and if you have everything right as mentioned in previous post it should flash the drive with the CFW you build in JF and placed in the 1234567 12345 folder.

Re: help needed with lite-on 74850c
Right i followed everything you said. i created a a L74CFW from my dummy key. in iprep everything was going smooth until i got the message that MTK vendor intro failed. my drive is half open so it should be on the vendor mode. i cant still erase lite on in jungler flasher.
i noticed when iprep was setting up it said my sata cable was located at 0x9800 when it is really at 0x9400. could this be the problem? The drop down menu in iprep doesnt select my correct port either?
ok i fixed this by editing the info.bat file on usb.
now it iprep gets to writing to blank 0 and freezes, any ideas anyone?
