well there you go tried to reflow a sammy with error 0102, i taped the mobo in tinfoil like most of the vids - ithought id done it all but i guess there was a little gap right above the sync button, well i didnt notice and put it bk together to check and its working fine but i couldnt press in the sync button so pulled of the front but couldnt see the button so i striped it down to see that it had melted downward and is unpressable ? ? ?

alwys somthing isnt there !?

well iv done so many searchs that i dont beleive i can buy one ?

do any of you guys know where i can buy a xbox console sync button ?
they look simple to replace its just finding 1 ?

I think if you plug in a play and charge kit to both the console and the controller they will be connected.

You can try that, but I dont think it works for wireless headset's, so its kind of a temporary workaround

The only thing I can think of to get the switch would be to buy a completely dead 360 through ebay or whatever, then just take the switch off that board and put it on yours.

The other option, I'm not sure if it'll work is to just buy any old button switch, and use it.

Take a look at the board, you may just be able to go to radio shack and buy a button switch, and use it.

Or just ask someone maybe the will send a couple
