Hi guys heres the problem im having i have been searching high and low for a fix but cant find 1 anywere so im hoping u guys can help :).

When i turn my Xbox on (middle light constantly blinks) and the Disc tray automatically opens and if I press the Eject button it will close and then eject again and stay open. It is not the DVD drive because it does the exact same thing when i connect my new drive from my other console to this console.I have also confirmed it is not the cables as I have tried 2 other sets and the problem still occurs?

Also when i power off the Xbox the drive closes sounds as if its reading then ejects on its own (so the drive is open when the console is off)

Oh and its a lite on 74850c

Anyone have any idea what this is and what I can do to fix it?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT - Not my video but this is whats happening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52da1GbtNco" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah it was flashed but i have flashed it back to stock now.

I know its not the drive because i have tryed 2 other drives in this xbox and they all do the same thing.

I have tried 2 other sets of cables aswell (sata and dvd) in the xbox and its still blinking green and ejecting on its own.

I aint got a clue whats up with it :(

that is not correct man

its doing that because it does not have the right firmware in it or it has a bad flash/key in the firmware
which is the same thing it will do if you just put a different dvd drive in it from a different console

you need to get your original firmware dump .make sure it has a good key
and try to get that dvd drive back to original or reflash it.
