im replacing a benq for a benq and need HELP!!!

You could replace the BenQ with a Samsung. You just need a dump of the BenQ firmware with a valid drive key. Then you copy the drive key into the hacked firmware for the Samsung drive with Maximus Firmware Toolbox and spoof it to report as a BenQ. Then create the hacked firmware for the Samsung, create a USB boot disc with iPrep, flash with fsam, and you are good to go.

you can spoof about any drive into ant console.keep in mind the v79 is all but impossible.
i would just get the same kind of drive that came in the console.That way you dont have to get into the spoofing thing.
but
its doable if need be.

well if you cant find a benq then i would go with a v28 samsung dvd drive.
you will have to spoof this to report as a benq drive.As long as your console had a benq to start with
