i just got a 9504 slim. dont want to update dash from 91990 to the new one which some games say i need to play them. is there a workaround? its flashed to lt+. is the new dash safe?.. :/

you have to have the new dash to play games with the ap25 check

you can flash it but if you try to play a game with ap25 it will make you do the dash update

ps3 is doing the same thing now. are these new tactics(needing to flash to play)? they should at least give the option to keep whatever dash you want and instead of installing thier anti-whatever spy software AND changing the dash. id go back to the first 360 dash if i could ):

any of the updates to the dash or the console you have to take to be able to play on line
but then they do the odd thing every now and then and do a huge dash update that you have to take to even be able to play the new games

There's a work around where you can play some of the new wave 7+ games without and not have to bother with the AP25, but it's mainly intended for people with out of date firmware, and you still get stuck with that Kinect dash.
