very urgent red light on slim

hi guys please help turned my slim on yesterday it turned on then the green light turned to red in the middle of the on/off pad the fan still spins and the drive still opens any ideas please please got all my saves in the mem as i dont have a hard drive

i dont have a slim
but just from a quick search
it looks like M$ has built another console that is a hunk of shit
many people having trouble with the power supply not working right along with other stuff
if i find something that will help ill post up

I think thats an overheating issue. Could be that, or like cofree said microsoft being typical microsoft. Building crap even with all the experience gained from the xbox fat...
