flashing a slim 9504...

ive flashed one before, but since the update i havent flashed one drive with lt+ 1.9 so i was wondering is there a different way to flashing the drive? and also will all game backups work as long as they are patched correctly? or are there some games that will not boot no matter what? someone please give me a accurate answers ASAP! thanks

all games will play as long as you have the game iso
patched and the latest firmware and dash.

the trouble most people are running into
is they have a copy of cod blackop that they just burned now they take the console update
re-flash there dvd drive(because the new dash update will flash your drive)
but then they forget you have to rebuild your game iso that have the ap25 checks
the older burns are trash

so say the console is updated to the lastest dash THEN i fflash the 1.9, make sure the games are patched correctly, they will run fine yeah? my friend wants his console done but im a bit confused on what does n doesnt work atm because of the dash update lol

im not 100% up on the slim drives
but
the phat drives are 100%
do the dash update with a usb or burn it on a cd
it will flash the drive
make sure you have a dump of the drive before you do the update
i save a copy of all my dumps the first time i do them
after you do the dash update all the ap25 games will not work till they are re-patched with the new files
just use abgx360 to rebuild your iso again and burn it

then just build your new v19 hacked firmware and flash it in with jungle flasher

i dont see any reason that the slim would be different
but like i say im not 100% on that
ive not even flash a slim

im going to get the gears of war 3 slim and flash it
i guess that will be my first one
unless one of the guys from rhpg gets one before that

thanks man so basically if the console has had the dash update and the key wasnt retrieved before the dash update then theres no way of getting the key off the drive yet?

i know they moved the key to a different place in the firmware
also that they have found it
but as far as being able to dump the drive after the dash update
im just not sure

well it all worked out in the end i dumped the drive, took the update, drive whown up as a different firmware revision in jungle flasher, i built a lt+ 1.9 cfw with the dummy i got from the drive, flashed it to the drive the same way you would before the dash update was released, tried a legit fifa 11 and it booted up fine so the drive is cool i dont know if back ups work thou, my friend took the xbox and hasnt reported back since! ill keep you posted when he does!
