hitachi 0079 flashing help

hey guys, first time attempting this hitachi drive (v.79) having some issues. the drive is detected in j/f and im able to set to mode b.... check out the log~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You did burn the 79 unlock audio cd, right? It was installed in the xbox when you ran the Proggy?

yes, burnt it on cd. but what do you mean by proggy? (j/f?)

i think its an error on my part. when i burned the unlock 79 disk, i burned the image file, not the bin. can anyone comfirm that it is in fact the bin file i must burn?

you have to burn the cue file
if i remember right

damn, still getting the same error. do i select portio or win. anyone? im working w/ vista and using via card. never had trouble flashing my liteon, then again this is a hitachi

vista can be a nightmare to try and mod with

i dont have one here to do any testing with and i
just dont remember that much about the old hit drives

i would set up a partition with xp to do my modding with
thats for sure
