New Android Market 3.0.27 Rolling Out Now

Image

This is more of a reminder for those that missed the Android Market leak a few weeks ago. Google updated the
Android Market with movie rentals and book rentals as well as a few other improvements. The user interface has
almost completely changed and is more in-line to Honeycomb and what we should be seeing with Ice Cream Sandwich.

The new user interface is intended to be more engaging as it showcases top apps and games while providing a
quicker path to purchasing products.

Some of the new features include more lists (i.e. top paid, top free, top grossing, etc.) that are country-specific,
and individual app product pages have been rearranged to streamline the buying process.

Aside from the new user interface, Android users might be more interested to learn that they can now purchase books,
which will be linked to their Google accounts, as well as rent movies starting at $1.99.

The new market is pretty cool, I downloaded it in apk form a few weeks ago.

It does seem a bit slow though, the other market was faster. Less graphics and images to load.

ya it does seem a bit slower. but over all i like the new UI.

it does look vary similar to the windows 7 mobile firmware.

i just hope Google made the right step.
