Few questions on Xecuter xDrive 360

Just a question:-

I have a xbox with liteon drive in but have no idea which model. The drive has been flashed already by someone else and I dont know who. The questions I have are:-

If I buy Xdrive 360 and use my old benq as the second drive, do I have to buy a Prode and unlock switch to get my key off the drive?

i would ask who you got it from for a copy of you dump
that will have the key in it.

The pogo mon thoin method will dump a flashed liteon without cutting any traces. I would definitely dump the drive for keys as well as get a backup dump from the person you got the box from if possible.

If you use a benq in a box that has a liteon in it, you will most probably have to spoof it to look like a liteon. Connect a spoofed drive to xbox live and most probably you will end up banned. Just my $.02.

Now if I take my lite-on and get the key off that can I just replace it with the benq?

You have to read the information from the liteon drive you removed to get the dvd key, then you have to flash that key to the benq drive, as well as spoof the benq drive to make it identify as a liteon. That is just to get the xbox working with the benq drive instead of the original liteon drive. This can all be done using the jungleflasher software.

Right, Bad news cant get the key from the person who did it.

But have a friend who is saying I should update my dashboard which is on 2.0.12625.0 now before updating the firmware to 1.91? is that right? or should I wait until he has done the firmware update?

Sorry forget to say that the drive is already at LT 1.1 and I am wanting to update it to 1.91.

Once again, thx for info, My current drive is not stock, its runnings Lt 1.1 and will be running 1.91. I will be adding the xdrive to this console and spoof the drive, as I understand I have too. I wont be returning to xbox live with this console. I should not be ban doing this way, right?
