The first game formatted to the XGD3 is to be released in the first week of Sept 2011. Driver San Francisco will be the first game utilizing the new format, making use of extra dvd space afforded by the new style of XBOX 360 game discs. To quote COMPLEX:

This is the first game using the new XGD3 format wich currently is not
readable with any of the common rip drives until new rip fw/tools arrive.
So here is a GOD container for everyone with a JTAG console - enjoy!

The official release of the game is early September. Expect a new firmware release for your DVD drives in the near future, as this is what has been waited for prior to the release of LT+ 2.0. For those of you with JTAG, let us know how it is.

Dead island and Space marine also has it, for me id rather it happen now rather than later when all the big hitters start rolling out like Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Gears 3 and so on. Least we should be sorted by then
