Droid Boinic Wifi Teather Hack
Verizon and Motorola clearly put in some work to block unauthorized tethering on the Bionic, but that hasn’t stopped our dev community from making progress.
While the phone can be easily rooted, many of us found out that your favorite tethering app was not able to work properly.
Folks over at XDA figured out a way to edit the settings.db file from inside the device to bypass whatever Moto attempted to block.
How to enable stock wifi Hotspot without Verizon Provisioning.
1. Download ''SQLLite Editor'' from the android market
2. Open ''SQLLite Editor'' and what for list to load
3. look for “Settings Storage” and open
4. open ''settings.db''
5. open ''settings''
6. Then select and long press ''entitlement_check''
7. Click edit field and set to ''0''
REBOOT AND YOUR DONE
