hi got a 74850c aug 2008 which will not green light, probe is ok unit is sealed
its not been flashed before wont play copies anyway what 2 do leave it?

Does the drive work? Does it play originals? Eject?

does it not need the kamikaze hack to dump the key if it has been updated to new dash?
i thought it was the only way to get key off a console that had never been flashed before with new dash update.

not quite, that only applies to slim consoles

if you have updated your day to the latest one then your gunna need a probe 3 mate

it does play originals and its my mates
not sure were to look 4 latest update done
but in sys it has d:2.0.13599.0-k:2.0.13599.0(bk:2.0.1888.0

2.0.13599 is the dash version and 13599 is the latest version.

probe 3 will do the trick for you mate, you can pick them up cheap, all you need is a probe conversion cable that will convert any probe into a probe 3, go over to ck3.co.uk and check it out

i did a 93450 grandsons and he updated his now its stock do i just flash it the same?

in the tutorial where it shows the setup picticture you will see a sata to usb connector, this is optional, you can still you just a standard sata connection

wow what a shock i thought i just needed the probe not the x360usb pro as well

you dont need the x360usb pro too, its optional, just stick with your simple sata connection

hi me again just got probe finally but the switch on the cable doesnt turn off the probes led is it faulty?

ive just looked at the wires from probe to cable and they r diff than my probes 1and 2 they match. but 3 dosent the 3 wires from probe small plug match but werethey connect to
the large plug from left to right the red is in pin4 and the black pin 3 i think it should b in pin 1 left hand corner ive checked the red and it does go o/s when switch is pressed

just done a benq the same way sysupdate then put lt+2.0 on it but didnt work only read originals
then i find out back to stock first didnt find out till it was 2 late do u know of a way round this
