Hi there

I'm a technician and this is my 1st time trying to flash a 360 drive (but not my 1st device flashed, at least).
I d/l iprep, update it and I have the latest fw version.

I have a PCI/SATA adapter with a chipset via 6421 with a MSI kt3v (ms-6721) motherboard with all the latest drivers for all my devices.

I did start the BOOTABLE USB procedure and succesfully created it. I booted normally with it, but when I type Dben.bat with both serials. I followed the procedure and turn on the drive only after sending the YES command.

the little HEX indicator won't change and it will stay frozen until I reboot the PC.

any hint on what I did incorect?

please, someone help me. ask me all the question you can imagine but I badly need to do this mod quickly. it's for my boss's son.

thanks

you have to turn it on / wait 2 seconds / turn it off / wait 2 seconds / turn it back on

The status should change to 0x73 & reading should begin ;)

If it doesn't I suspect you are connected to the wrong port on the controller... typically it's the internal port on the card "the one at the end closest to the front of the pc"

you tirn the power off to the 360 dvd drive for 2 sec then back on.
that is the steps needed to get the dvd drive in a mode where it can be dumpped/flashed
