If you keep using your kreon drive never use that backup online. The kreon can't rip certain data, so it needs to be patched with ABGX and at the end of the day the backup is less 'stealth' than it would be if you were using 0800.

I still use my kreon but I dont play any backups online, and I've yet to dump a XGD3 Game

just a little update
I got a good dump of gears of war 3

I used xbc v2.9.0.345 fround Here
there is no instaler with this
You still need to get xbc v2.5 with the installer, run that one first the get v2.9
(for the few first timers)
also
you have to get the dae.bin file that works with your dash.
You can get the dae.bin file for dash 13599.0 Here
the dae.bin file goes in the root of the xbc folder.

I used Clonecd to burn the file
Just got done playing the backup in my flashed console

Thanks for the quick response MOONKNIGHT. what about media, should it be used a different media capacity? note: i know you guys said you can burn to regular dl but if you want to do it right, with correct capacity to fit the complete xgd3 backup, what would be the media used? Thanks

I missed this post, anyways I dont think you can buy the 'correct' disk the way I see it is Microsoft is pushing the limits of the DL disk. You need to think M$ uses high tech equipment to manufacture the disks, where as with us we are buying cheaply produced disks so we can burn data to it with our cheap dvd burners.

I'd say its reasonable to assume that our process of creating backups is 1.7% less efficient than M$'s million dollar equipment.

This thing works awesome, backed up my GOW3 and everything perfectly fine, but when going to backup Driver, the drive does not recognize it or detects it, wonder why. I will check my friends Warhammer 40K tomorrow and see what happen.

I just flashed my Liteon 16D2S in the new JF. Everything went fine, but after doing the outro step I noticed that it said something like "Not detected" next to DVD Key in the drive info. I tried erasing/reflashing a couple times but it didn't work. I went ahead and tested it out anyway with a backup (NHL 12) and that works, so I'm not too concerned about it. I don't play on Live anyway.

there is no patching a xdg3 iso
abgx360 has not been updates yet
that is why we have to put the dae.bin file that is for your dash in the xbc folder
it has the stealth files needed

guys there is no way i would play any of these games on live
Give it a few weeks at least.

I'm not saying anything remotely close to that.

I'm saying I flashed my drive and saw something weird, but tried out a backup anyway because I don't care about Live.

I too flashed my Liteon up to LT + v2.0 in JungleFlasher and the outro did not give verification. I thought the flash had failed and repeated several times but with the same result. When I came to re - connect the xbox its playing backups fine ( which it didn't do before because I had updated dash to latest with stock firmware). But this is a banned console and I only use it offline -- it maybe a different story on Live

i have done today 3 liteon and all were fine the first try. A sammy on the other hand gave me problem, I flashed twice and couldn't play my GOW3 backup, it sees it on my dash but when launch it give me a meesage to please eject and clean disc. Don't understand why is that. Anyone?

make sure the dash on that samsung console is 13599
