Official release of the iXtreme LT+ v2.0

- Support for XGD3 ixtreme backups using LT-MAX for maximum capacity on standard DVD+R DL discs. Passes all security checks for XGD3 including correct capacity.

- Support for large capacity DVD+R DL media (no errors when burning)

I would like to dedicate this fw to the Xbox Live Enforcement Team and the recent false (AP25) bans and subsequent reversal. Keep up the good work guys.

I have flash a benq with the 0800 firmware
and also have a phat benq console with the new
LT+ v2.0 flashed in.
All we are waiting on now is the new XBC from redline99
ill start a dump and burn as soon as i have the tools

asking a stupid question here...i just put the new 2.0 on my liteon tonight..what is the 0800 for?
can someone please explain to me..?
does it go on the liteon too...?

0800 is firmware to make the xbox dvd drive work in a computer. This is how you create backups of your original disks (along with a program called xbc). DVD drives flashed with the 0800 firmware will not work in an xbox.

ok..can you give me more info..i have a Kreon drive Samsung SH-D162/SH-D163 that i use for my originals..i so don't need the 0800...right

This build of XBC does not support older Xtreme ripping firmwares (Kreon drives are still supported though).

The 0800 firmware is for liteon and benq xbox 360 drives.
All I know about Kreon drives is that they had bad rips back in the day, resulting in lots of bans...

so your saying i can take an extra liteon and put 0800 on it, and through it in my computer and put a original game in and on xbc and read it....

and your saying i can't update my Kreon drive Samsung...

yes, you should start using a liteon or benq with 0800 firmware and not a old kreon drive

Thanks for the quick response MOONKNIGHT. what about media, should it be used a different media capacity? note: i know you guys said you can burn to regular dl but if you want to do it right, with correct capacity to fit the complete xgd3 backup, what would be the media used? Thanks

you burn on a DL dvd
most of us use verbatim disc

that is as good as you can get
