Hello Everyone, is there anyway of replacing this xbox drive with a liteon or any other besides the TS-H943? Thanks in advance

you dont want to do that
if its gone bad just pickup one one ebay
and flash in your firmware
it can be done
you just spoof in a different dvd drive

v1.91 i think
but why
you should only use v2.0 firmware

i just want to check if it because the lt-2.0 doesn't match my drive as some games that r not ap25 still does not load or r recognized.

its not going to be the firmware
it will play a backup or it wont
its the drive laser or its the backup itself
7400 are known to be weak lasers

There is a "BIG FIX" for this drive. I knew it was something to do with the firmware. Updated on c4evaspeaks.
