Robin Hoods Playground

Here is a weird one i have dumped driver SF perfectly have 2 console on with phat 74850c drive and vad6038 both flashed with latest FW and lastest dash the game boots in the liteon console but in the benq console it goes to boot but throws black screen and shows a single red light bottom right.

Any ideas?


Update error code shows as 1002

1002 DVD Drive Error, likely a firmware error, drive can eject, read, and write under windows but errors on console, replacing original firmware should fix issue.

what does it do on original games or other backup games other than xdg3 games

i would say start over on that benq drive
flash back to stock (make sure it works)
get a new/or different copy of the firmware and rebuild and reflash

My personal backup console is a benq and it is works good so far
ive not tried that game thou

All other games and backups work perfect on the drive mate even FIFA 12 so cant see it being fw issue.

A black screen and 1 red light when the game boots used to mean ap 2.5 check failed from what i remember.

yeah i thought as much but weird thing tho it works on a diff console with same dash and lit drive

This error occurs when you replace the dvd-drive and forget to spoof it with the correct version string of the drive you replaced....

i wouldnt have the original string tho

I have never had even one console that i had a spoofed in drive work 100% with all games
Now dont ask me why

get a liteon model that the console had and flash it.

Well its a little skool boy error, I only found out the original fw dump from the original lit drive used the dummy as source then spoofed to target fw (benq) then used good old IPREP to erase and flash and works a treat.

that firmware most have all the serial info for the drive.
