i got gears of war 3 on disc using the method Deathuntou posted, i can confirm it works when on LT+2.0 and it also installs to the hard drive without problems (using verbs so i dont expect problems ) as for it working on live i havent touched it, i never use back ups for live, GET A SEPERATE CONSOLE FOR LIVE AND ONLY USE ORIGINALS, IT WILL SAVE YOU A WHOLE LOT OF TIME

play fine for me

i prefer playing from the hard drive, a lot quieter and it extends the dvd drives life
