Doing liteon dvd drive with 0800

hi all
tring to do a liteon 74 ser with 0800, just wondering if i got to do the same as the other way ,,using the probe and so on..?
do i need to read the dvd drive as ?

flashing 0800 firmware is the same as flashing custom firmware, so flash it how you normally would :)

just hook it up to your pc and xbc should see it
as long as your pc mounts it fine

ok it showing in the XBC....it says can;t find AP25 cannot locate dae.bin file
I put a original game in ..read don't highlight

I put dae_v12_13140-13599 and dae_v12_13140-13599.md5 in the XBC folder..please help

get and unrar this get the dae13599 file.
then put the dae.bin in the root of the xbc folder

that will make it work right and give xbc the ap25 and the xdg3 info it needs

ok..put both files in the XBC folder..when i put a game in..i get this now..

not sure what you are talking about

the drive has to be hooked up to the pc.
yes it will have to be hooked to a sata port in your pc and the
drive will have to have power

i power on my drive then turn on the pc
but im running a different power supply for the drive. most people use a power plug from the pc to power the drive

ok..got it working....
Ripping a game now,,,so does this patch and everything to the game, i don't go online,,but if someone asked, is it allright to go online after ripping ..

they say its live safe
and there are many playing on live
I dont
there is just to many unknowns right now

Currently it is live safe, but there is a security flaw as not all of the information is included in the copied game. Don't know if this will be checked in the future, or if it will be spoofed to appear as full disc (crc checks out ok). My suggestion is to live on the edge, but have a spare box just in case.
