Gears of War 3 Season Pass Horde map pack is a scam,ripoff and just plain wrong.



First it not a true DLC, all you are doing is paying more money for info that is on your disc.
It is not downloaded from anything other than weapon skins and characters for a total of 1.4mb ,its just a unlock for the info that is on your disc.
The fact that epic locked the maps in the fist place is wrong, making it look like it was going to be a true DLC
just puts the icing on the cake.
Then epic has the never to tell us that its saving us money buying the season pass.
I sure don't remember seeing any signs that said
Gears of War 3 coming to xbox 360
Full game will not be unlocked till more money is paid

I hate this DRM crap.The fact that epic did this is horrible.

Think back a few years .There was a start up idea that broke circuit city.
All they could think was how much control they would have over a dvd movie
The Circuit City-backed technology ( DIVX ) was controversial when it hit the market in
the late 1990s soon after the launch of the DVD format. Many in the industry
feared it would confuse consumers and drive them away from a purchase,
something it did.Circuit City had put so much of its capital in this it broke them in the end.

I consider what epic has done to be worst because It is a misrepresentation to kids (and adults ) on what they will be buying and what they will be getting
It just goes to show how low Epic will go to get every Pennie from the consumer.
Being Gears of War 3 is a great seller its a shame this may not get the
attention it should.From the in your face LIE to the misrepresenting and not being completely open and forth coming with what they were going to do.
Dame i wish i could take the game back and shove it down the throat of epic.

WHAT!!! That's a disgrace. If it's already on the disc lock stuff down but give us the chance to unlock it by working for it through gameplay and not to line their already overflowing pockets. So i've bought the game only to find out it's not the full one? Funny they charged me the full $%*k*$ price.

That sums it up perfectly. I've always been a big Epic fan but now i feel cheated and have lost respect for them. Not that they'll care what the average loyal gamer thinks as long as it's raking in the money. I won't be purchasing anything that's for sure

im hoping one of the "Big Guys"
comes out with a way to unlock all the info on the disc for jtag and Reset Glitch Mod consoles

Yeah you know they will I want the pink lancer and I WANT IT NOW!!!

If they've already created the maps and theyre included on the disk, I include that with the game purchase.

If they spend another 2 or 3 months creating more maps and things then release them for a fee, I have no problem paying for their 2 - 3 months of work.

This just a scam quite frankly they might as well of charged you $10 to unlock the last 5 missions of the game, kind of what it feels like
