ive installed it to my hard drive bet yet the disc still spins! its a legit copy too, anyone else had this problem?

It could be the game itself. It probably installs the maps to the hard drive, but all the rest of the game data is read from the disk.

So the disk will spin sometimes, and other times it will read from the hard drive. If the install completed 100% and the disk is spinning, thats the only thing I can think of.

i think thats what it is mate, i played a bit of special ops last night and it wasnt spinning, its annoying, i hate how loud the console is when its spinning

Yeah i've noticed Forza 4 and mw3 both do this. Think it's like haggard said and only seems to happen with the xgd3 games as my older xgd2 ones used to spin once when first booting then shut the hell up
