Hey all. So I think it could definitely be my media or burner I suppose..

Hardware: iHAS124 B with the max burner fw
Media: MKM001 2.4x verbs

Successfully burns and verifies each burn. The xbox shows the game information but boots back to dashboard giving the infamous disc not supported error. Not sure how to proceed from here except to order different media?

will any backup play
one that does not have ap25

if so
then i would say its the ap25 data that is wrong
if no backup plays then it could be the firmware

I tried a backup of my original Assassins Creed and it booted up however when I tried Black Ops I got the same disc is not supported issue. The BO disc was a bit scratched though. Funny thing.. I hadn't flashed a box in a few months and I think somewhere in that time Windows 7 updates updated my SATA driver for my VIA card. JF was giving me constant issues and it still is (only have Windows 7 installed). Properly removed device, installed driver, disabled/deleetd vmaraid.sys, and reenabled the device. After doing all that JF will see the drive but 90% of the time freezes on Bank 0 during the writing process. It honestly took about 45 minutes of playing around with drivers and reboots to get a successful flash. It must have been OK if a non XGD3 backup works. However, I think the best move for me right now is to install XP under dual boot and reflash to see if that fixes anything. Anyone agree?

I have made backups of MW3 and new Batman but neither backups are loading into the actual game but properly display game title and information when hovering on the dashboard. This is driving me a tad insane.

im with you on that 100%
xp all the way

both of those games are ap25 games
so they have to be re-dumped with the latest xbc to get the right ap25 data info.
so it will play on the new dash

The xbox is still on the old dash, don't see a reason to update? However I will try an XP flash this weekend and redump the games with the new XBC. Thanks bud

it will be cool
if the new dump with xbc will play on any dash
i had not though of that

OK ended up installing Windows XP. Did all the necessaries and guess what.. same exact issue freezing on "Writing Bank 0: .". Exactly with one dot. Only have one drive so don't have any other xboxes to test but got it to flash after trying 3 different drivers. Also redumped my games corretly and the XGD3 games are successfully booting. Overall, can't really say why I'm getting that write error in JF but it's either going to be a failing VIA card, bad sata cable.., or just a plain driver issue.
