I am trying to re-flash or upgrade my Lite-On DG-16D2S v74850C (Phat) drive with the latest iXtreme LT Plus v3.0. It was previously flashed with iXtreme LT Plus v1.1. My question is, do I have to re-use the CK3 probe to extract the DVD Key from the drive?

Do you have your original firmware? You should revert back to stock then take update if required . Then flash with LT 3.0

No. You do not have to dump the drive again. Just load your dummy.bin and spoof source to target after dragging and dropping the LT3 firmware. Although it's a safe practice to go back to stock, take the update (as stated above), and then flash 3.0.

Yes, I do have the original firmware to my Lite-On DG-16D2S v74850C drive. I made absolutely sure I saved the original firmware. Furthermore, I did revert back to stock firmware than I took the dash update. After taking the dash update, I flashed my Lite-On DG-16D2S v74850C drive with the latest version of iXtreme LT Plus v3.0. I also used the latest version of JF to perform the flashing procedures. I was just wondering if I had to re-use the CK3 Probe to extract the DVD Key. To my surprise, I really did not have to re-use the CK3 Probe to extract the DVD Key. I checked the drive to make sure I had the iXtreme LT Plus v3.0 firmware installed and it turns out I do. I checked to see if all of my original games, backup games, and DVD movies played and they play excellent. Therefore, I am guessing I performed the flashing and updating of the dashboard procedures just fine because my xbox 360 is performing well.
