Robin Hoods Playground

just swapped my lite on laser for a ben q laser.

games load up great and drive ejects when button is pushed but does not close.
only way to close the drive is give it a small push then it closes and boots the game straight up.

done the outra reset stuff on jungle flasher and power xbox on and off a few times but still the same drive just doesnt close.

any ideas?

are the cables in properly?

Try replacing the drive belt. You can use small black rubber bands for this.

Yep. I use the ones girls use for braids, the small black ones that come about 500 in a pack for a dollar. They look small, but stretch to fit quite well. There are assorted sizes in the bag.

Sounds like the firmware's intact seeing it will close with a gentle push. Like the guys said try checking if the cables are all secure and connected and if possible get hold of the drive belt from another same drive and see what happens. let us know how you get on.
