I all ready have the maximus xtrctor and i would like to know if I have to get the Probe 3 if I am looking to get the X360USB PRO to do lite-on drives?

Probe 3 is for phat liteon drives only. It has nothing to do with usbpro. Usbpro is an excellent tool to have but you can dump a phat liteon drive with your xtractor & a probe 3 (compatible chipset needed of course). Honestly though, If you can justify spending the extra for the usbpro it is a worth while investment. It takes all the issues encountered with using onboard or via chipsets out of the equation.
