what console to get to mod

Hi i messed up my last console so have been away from the modding for a while and now i want to get a new style xbox slim to mod to play back ups.My question is do all of the slims alow modding of the drive.thanks jay

No. Most but not all. Check c4evaspeaks.com for list of drives that cfw is released for.
