Try a system restore back to a later date when you know it used to work something you installed in between that time must have done it doing a restore should fix it do the programs open if you go to the folder where they are installed in and click on the icon if they start from there just delete the orig link on desktop them create shortcut to desktop from whatever folder the program is in your trying to use.
