i just flashed my first beng drive using iprep 106 and 1.1 multi speed. everything went perfect with the flashing, booted up the 360 to test and any disc i put in it comes up with the error screen
please insert this disc in an xbox 360
i flashed the 12x firmware and use verbatim 2.4x
i used the video tutorial available here didnt see anything in it about creating a hacked fw like the dos method

when you dumped the firmware it will build the hacked firmware.it will show you your key
then after you make a copy of your orig bin.
then flash that should be it.
will the drive play orig games.

well after i finished reading the drive i went into windows and checked the dumped fw in toolbox 4.5 to make sure it was ok then shut down the comp and booted the iprep off my usb stick again and went through with the flash which went fine. it gives me this error with originals as well.

well man what i would do at this point is do a restore and try to get it back playing orig then we can worry about the hacked flash later.
check out this tread
i go into how to restore with iprep in it
let me know how it goes.

i had same prob, see my thread, but best bet is to check the hacked firmware in toolbox to make sure it is ok.

Yup, always check the dump and the hacked firmware with firmware toobox. It's a little extra work, but it's worth it if it prevents a bricked drive
