Yeah. Good point CoFree. If you already have Dax's CFW on your PSP, then you can also do the network update rather than download it. If you download it, make sure to get the official 4.01 firmware from the Sony PSP site and name it 4.01 pbp and put it in the same folder as the update. You do have to have a modded PSP in order to install this.

Also released was an experimental plugin called PspStates. Simply put, this plugin will allow you to create game saves while playing in game. More along the lines of real time game save. Its available on the dark-alex.org website, but make sure that you read the readme and understand what its talking about before using it. The warnings include making sure that you have a backup of your nand flash and making sure that you have a way to recover in case it bricks.

As enticing as PspStates sounds, I'm going to wait till they get it a little more stable before I start using it. It will for sure come in handy on those games that have those "tricky" points in them.

I can't remember what the change log was for 4.01 m33, but the 4.01 m33-2 was just a few bug fixes to 4.01 m33. You should be able to do a network update sccrbrandon since your on 3.80 m33-2. If your interested in knowing what all the changes were, just download the 4.01 m33 and have a look see at the readme. It will have all that stuff in there.

Well I updated via your PM. Isn't there supposed to be Divx support or am I just thinking of the 360?

The one I was using worked fine on 3.9x but I haven't tried it on 4.01 yet. I can't remember the name of it at the moment either so when I go home tonight, I'll get it out and try it and if it still works on 4.01, I'll post back the name of the emulator.

The name of it is NesterJ version 1.11 RM and I just tried it out and it works great on 4.01 m33-2. The RM stands for rewind mode. If your playing a game and mess up, you can hit a button and it will rewind till you let off the button. Cool little mod, but in order to have that mod, save game doesn't work right.

oh, and you don't need eloader for it to work either.
