I have watched the video for the BenQ burning tut (which is very good btw) but when do i use the fw toolbox? Before the iprep? After the flashing? Also does this program back up the orig. firmware before any flashing is done? Thanks!

after you dump the firmware. It makes the backup in a folder. You then cut the computer off.Reboot in windows make another backup of your orig firmware.keep it safe get it off your computer and save it.Then open the firmware in firmware toolbox v4.5. make sure the key looks good not a lot of the same number or letter.
Then reboot on the usb flash and flash the 360 drive.

Thanks for the reply! So This is what i would do:

1. Prepare flash drive in iprep
2. In the video ( Benq firmware flashing Video.avi ) I would restart the computer at 2:44 into the movie and copy the drive key into fw toolbox and save it on the usb drive? Im sorry im a little confused. When exactly in the video is the "dump" made? Thanks man!

Edit - Also in the video - When you say " Turn your drive on and wait for it to say "D1" Will the porgram stop at "D1" or will it keep on flashing different numbersr and letters and when you turn the drive off it will stop at D1.

you will do dben and let it do its thing.it will dump 4 banks. After that it will start firmtool by caster420 and you should see your key.
When it comes up and says
Ready to run FBEN

That is when you power everything down and restart. Make a copy of your firmware.then check the firmware to make sure it good.
