Hey,

I am back, just got my sata card today and have everything installed. I already have the flash USB ready to go as well, but when I completely shut my PC down and turn it back on I can not see my drive. When it go's into DOS flash menu I type in my S/N and hit enter it says it can not find my drive there as well and I am doing this with the 360 on. Thanks you guys for your time and help.

what way are you trying to flash the drive and what kind of drive is it.

If it a benQ use Iprep 101 v006 to flash it.

Cofree how are you its Alex From Orlando Fl, Okay just detected the drive and have the USB ready to flash my drive. I have another question. When I use FW TOOLS to check my FW dump do I open the file that says Backup and check the FW that says hacked? When I click on that it gives me the same S/N as my 360 is this okay?

After you do the read/dump you will find your original firmware in there also.
That is the firmware you open with toolbox v4.5.make sure the key look good.

Example1: EC57289GN89E23I09E47VB7 ( This is what it looks like when I open the org FW not the exacted numbers but something like it. )

Looks like a valid key to me. Should be good to proceed.

im having the same problem.. i have a samsung ms25 drive and a VIA card

dont hook up the 360 drive till it is booted up in dos
then hook up the sata and turn on the power.

then you type
dsam 1234567 12345

then do what it says on the screen

dsam? hmm ok on the tut it says iDump but i will try this thanks

this is what ive done....i boot into DOS off my usb etc and type in iDump and serial number after plugging my 360 in and turning it on, but this is where i encounter my problem my 360 does not show up on the list....

what iprep are you using if its 101 v002 you do use idump

iPrep 101 v002, so yeah ive done that right but my drive isnt showing up on the list, only some IDE drive is on there as option 1
