spoofing the hit to play in a benq console is not the easiest thing to do.
The best thing is to just flash the benQ with iprep 101 v006
look over this

Yes, Its definitely easier to flash a stock drive, other than the Hit 79, than to change a drive and spoof it. There's several easy to follow tutorials for all the drives. cofree has the sammy and benq covered pretty well.

Most agreed, the Benq to me is by far the easiest drive I've flashed. It takes a minute or two longer that the older hitachi's, but it's easier. Flashing your Benq is what I would recommend as well.

Chipset is a set of chips that a device uses to operate. In the case of the subject, an example would be the chipset that is on a Syba 150-r PCI sata card is a VIA 6124L chipset.

You don't have to use a USB stick, commonly called a thumb drive or jump drive to do your project, although it is recommended. You could use a floppy drive if you have one, but floppies can be somewhat un-reliable, or at least I'm told :D

i dont know if this is important regarding chipset and sata cards but i have a sata cabl that can already plug in to the back of the dvd drive

and im still not getting the purpose of the chipset thing or the Sata card
in the tutorial it jus seems so damn easy( which is good)

Some people have problems with certain sata cards. Especially ones that are built in on computers like Dell, HP's and such. The problems generally are not being able to see the drive, nor freezing once the process of reading the firmware begins.

You can try it with the sata card that your computer has though. Worst case scenario would be if you got a bad dump and flash it with a bad key, then you wouldn't be able to play anything.

its a hardware thing

for your computer to see and talk to the 360 dvd drive right it must have a via6421 chipset.
it may work with others and it may brick your drive.

some people have this chipset on there mother board must do not and have to get a pci sata card
you will put that in your computer hook a nice long sata cable to it run it out of you computer and at the right time hook it up to your 360 dvd drive for doing the firmware dump.
