all I've ever done with it is stealth patch my hot swap games.
I don't like backing up game that way.
Having all those backup with the same info on them seems like it could be a problem.

You still have to go online to get your updates. I heard some of the people that got banned didn't even have the game that wasn't patched in their console, but had played a non stealth patched game or downloaded game. This is hearsay though, I don't know that as gospal truth. I wouldn't take the chance.

It is true that the 360 can flag that your playing a non-stealth backup and then report it to Microsoft at the next time that it's connected to xbox live. I've always referred to the 360 as the little sister that mom and dad left you in charge of while they went somewhere, then while they were gone, your sister caught you smoking or doing something that you weren't suppose to be doing. Whats the first thing she's going to do? Soon as mom and dad get back, she blabs on you. Samething with the 360. Just look at all the tracking that their doing with it. You can look at your own play record on xbox.com and then compare it to the played list of all your friends. It shows you everything that you've played. Not to mention playing online with Halo3 and going to bungie.net and checking your stats. You can get all your stats, including every weapon you've used, your rank and all that crap. It's probably scary to know everything that they could track. After thinking about it, I may start referring to the 360 as a trojan or some kinda uber spyware

^wow... haha. well the obvious thing to do is take out the backups and put the original in if needed to update....
