ok all ive been trying to figure this out for over 2 weeks lol anyways my problem is im trying to flash my 360 i use iprep 101
to make the flash files now when i put them on my usb stick and go in bios to set it to boot from usb it wont boot now when i use a floppy disc put the files on a flopy then reboot my pc ok im at the flashing screen so i follow directions now when i get to this see underneath


for the following steps you need to
press yes to resend the mtk vendor intro command
turn on the drive wait for status to change to d1
turn off drive for 2 seconds
turn on the drivereading should start
mtk vendoe intro failed on port 0xd000 if u choose to resend the command
you should turn the drive off and on after u pressed yes
do u want to resend the command until the drive responds y/n i hit yes
status 0x7f it sits there just blinking its should change to d1 its not


and it will just stay there blinking am i missing something here also this i s the sata card i bought and im using now

the other people that got that card say it works for the benq.
so we will assume it will work.
that being said.

D1 not flashing (for BenQ) :
What that means is the computer is not seeing the 360 drive.There are many different thing that can be causing this problem.
Chipset will not work.Most sata ports on the mobo will not work.
Try a different port on your sata card.The port closest to the front most of the time is the one to use.
Try a different sata card.This a card that is known to work

Try a different sata cable
Put the sata card in a different pci slot
I would try this just for kicks before the next step.Try a floppy maybe that will do it (don't hold your breath)
You may even need to try a different computer.This is rare how ever it will happen some time.

thanx 4 the respond i try a floppy also i tryed on 3 other pcs no luck same thing it will boot with a floppy not with a usb werid but ill keep trying to i get it thanx again
i also have the sata cable n port 1

well make sure you are using iprep 101v006.2
getting your computer to boot to a flash is a setting in your bios that you are probably missing.there are some computers that just wont boot on a flash,but most will. on my computer i had to set "usb zip" then mine would boot on a flash.
doing it on a floppy is fine as long as its in good shape and you use a new floppy disc.
when you build you iprep your sata controller is in the drop down right??

im using iprep v006 and yes my sata controler is n my drop down list Via Sata Raid Controller

also im trying a new flopy it says the same it just blinks wont go to D1

the only thing i have running from the sata card is the cable coming from the card to the xbox dvd thats the only thing i need right

is there anything i have to do in bios with the sata card

it wont stay on D1 it will be flashing back and forth fast.

this will suck,but you may need to try a different computer.

it will stay on 0x37 with the _ just blinking never goes 2 the D1 i try 2 othe rpcs but im gonna try a gateway 1 now it has all sata n it hd pci card


ok im n my usb zip all i see is floppy or hard disc no usb

if you use a computer that has other sata drives hooked up (dvd/cd or hard drives) make sure you unhook them before you dump the drive.
if you do dump the drive with another sata drive hooked up firmtool will not run and build your hacked firmware.

some computer will not boot from a usb flash

I had trouble also with USB... Floppy all the way !

I unhooked my IDE and all my SATA devices
that gave me no problems stops or other wierd things.
A friend with 2 raids in his computer didn't wont to unhook his sata think he was too lazy and then had to build the hacked firmware manually, there is a guide for that on this site 2, but still ya need a good dump.

When you get that 0x73 or something don't you have to shut power of and then back on before if goes trough to D1 ?

ok all i found the problem y it wouldnt boot my usb drive i try to boot from a 4 gig usb port no good so i read n forums and seen were someone had the same prob they bought a 1 gig and it werk same here i can boot from usb port but now when i try to falsh this is what it does now

status it flikers between 0x51just the 5 will fliker with the d

When status toggles between 0x51 and 0xD1 you need to turn off xbox and status will then stay at 0xD1.
Turn your xbox back on and you should get 0x73 and reading should begin.

That is the 2 seconde trick they talk about in the text above...

press yes to resend
turn on the drive wait for status to change to d1 (or your flickering part will be here with the 0x51)
turn off drive for 2 seconds
turn on the drivereading should start

If that doesn't work I would go for a vt6421 pci sata card

ok great i know im getting closer and closer lol to flash it

after a dump make sure to check your firmware in firmware toolbox
to make sure the dump has a good key in it.
if you flash a benq with a bad key its over.you have a bricked drive.
if you dont have a copy of your key.

ok i didnt wanna start another thread thanx 4 da help ok my controller is working now now how can i play xbox live online afte rthe flash i have 2 profiles and when i try to log on with either it says the current profile is not allowed to play xbox live so its saying they want me to pay lol so im guessing that all the modding i did will let me play 4 free on xbox live but how???

also my controller is werking wirelessly it wont werk when controller is plugged n xbox 360
