injecting 59dj firmware and key into 47dj drive

hey just flashed both the drives and have the backup keys. wondering is it possible to flash my 47dj with the firmware and key from 59dj, or is it better just to change the motherboard of the drive into the new one as, the 59dj laser is dead and i want the other one to work.

you have to put the key from the bad drive into the firmware of the good drive.
i think there is a way to just flash in the new key in the firmware on the good drive
let me get back to you on that.
its here some where.
you can not put a firmware in a drive it does not belong in.

well i fixed it anyways. all i done now was put the non laser working motherboard into the new one and its working fine. thanks for replying cofree.

oh yeah i dont no why i said firmware, i probably meant spoofing the firmware as a 59dj, I think i m confused.
