Glad you got it figured out man. I didn't know how your system was setup or I would've suggested trying a different sata card, althought I think your onboard sata should have picked it up. Regardless, you've got it working now and thats all that matters!! Awesome job man!!

Are any of the TSST-Corp drives Kreon capable. I have a newer Toshiba-Samsung drive and they were only 20 dollars. I'd be willing to sacrifice one of them if anyone with experience could tell me that it might work.

you are hi-jacking someone elses thread

there is only a hand full of dvd drive that will work with the kreon firmware.
