How To Save The Government $5 Million
A president's pension currently is $191,300 per year.
Assuming the next president lives to age 80. Sen McCain would
Receive ZERO pension as he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as
President. Sen Obama would be retired for 26 years after two terms and
would receive $4,973,800 in pension.
Therefore it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in
November.
How's that for non-partisan thinking???

Re: Food For Thought
I like your thinking Jman. I just have the opinion that it would be worth the almost 5 M to elect Obama. I'm not going to get into the politics to debate my opinion though. Everyone should vote for whomever they think will do the better job. Thats all I will say.

Yeah, I just came across it and thought it was an interesting fact. I really don't care much for either choice, as usual, so don't think I'm pressing politics here! I'm actually a registered democrat!

it has been my experience that in politics you are always having to pick the lesser of two evils.
