for different drives there are different ways to restore it, we would need more details like what drive is it. what model, firmware is it flashed with. do you have the original firmware backed up. for hit drives there is a different way so give us more info so we could help

i take it that you have benq drive, if its a benq drive then just put you original firmware which should look like this
benq-ofw and put it in a folder and name it with numbers like 1234567 and other folder as 12345 and put it in your iprep usb.
do the rben 1234567 12345 and follow the instructions.

good.. happy restoring ;)

one point I need to make is I don't understand why people feel the need to flash back / i'm not against it either.
but I think there is 2much unnecessary panic about the forthcoming update.. i'm certainly not going to advise any1 against choosing this option but my personal feelings are mixed on what protection it will actually provide. I'm 1 of those that belive if u have been flagged u have been flagged.... I have not seen any evidence of people being able to outrun the ban hammer from a current stealthed/flashed hardware - all of the evidence I have seen sofar is based on bad rips or downloads!!

In saying that I also need to say that my word is not golden on this subject - my thoughts remain mixed, proof & justification are unfounded.

as much as I want to avoid it - whenever I remove the warrenty sticker from my xbox's I have already accepted the consequences ;)

i'm sending it back to ms for the three red lights i was able to preserve the warranty strip when i took the xbox apart the strip was not compremised .so i wanted to put the orginal firmware back on the sys .now i don't know if ms can tell if it was modded or if they will even check but at this point it doesn't matter the 360 don't work and since the strip has not been broken why not use the warranty.

Well, they will repair your system for you, but here is what will happen. If your system doesn't have an HDMI port, you'll get two new things. You'll get a new motherboard, called OPUS and you'll get a new DVD drive, yup you guessed it, a lite-on. But the good news is, they will repair it. Most I've heard they care about is that sticker. I've actually seen a couple of friends of mine send them back to MS without a sticker and they come back repaired, but I wouldn't take that chance myself.

it's a shame they replace the board... a spoof would be very easy then

Hopefully, they'll be able to get a full dump of the lite-on FW and make an IXtreme version of it, but at the mo, that's looking doubtful...

yea it's gonna suck if the liteon remains useless/unflashable.

i hope not tho.
