Burning a D/L Image of a 360 Game

Post by chrischarles2002 »

First off, I'd like to say how great this site is with all of its documentation and information, along with all the helpful links to necessary tools & utils.
My question is about burning games with images found on the Internet.
Do we still need to get a DVD_ROM SH-D162C drive with KREON FWv1.00 in order to burn a downloaded image? or will any old dual-layer DVD burner do the trick?
Is the Xbox Backup Creator v2.6 software package still the best app to burn these types of images? Are there any other options that are more "hands-off" (I've read things about CloneCD and other software alternatives)?

Thanks in advance for the help...

Well man i'm sorry to say that talking about downloading game is against the rules. :(

the sh-d162c dvd drive is just for dump a orig game that you have in hand. This is by far the safest way to do your backup.
The only thing i use xbc v2.7 for is to dump the game that i have in my sh-d162c dvd drive.

Once you have your game on your computer.I burn mine with img burn.you can get that program here.

Look over this guide to help you set img burn up right so that the iso will play after you burn.

That is the help i can offer.

If you have another question just ask.One of us will try to help.
