Robin Hoods Playground

hello this is my first post in these forums so i hope i,m not asking something obvious here, i flashed a 79fl drive about 3 weeks ago and all went well but now its gone 3 rrod sods law, my question is do i restore the original firmware back in the same way as a v78 drive after the unlock procedure any help would be greatly appreciated. i think i have answered my own question but always like to double check these things

yep.. restoring the 79 is the same as the 78 but you obviously have to use the unlock tool 1st
Flashing back will not fix the RROD... I can only guess you intend to send it back to M$ & that is your motive for restoring the drive..

thanx for the prompt response yeah it will be winging its way back to microsoft and i,ll most probably get a liteon waited ages to get the unlock for the 79fl guess i,m just unlucky with these things
