i have a few questions please help
1, can you do them? 1 is a benq (only done the check through hole when panel is off) the other i havent checked yet but its an arcade system i bought around june.
2, do they have to be reflashed around update time to stop banning?
3, what are the chances of getting banned?
4, how easy is it to do a flash?
5, are there any step by step processes for newbies?
i'm sure these questions have been covered over time in various ways but ive been here for over an hour searching and looking so decided to join for more of a better answer.

im not sure what you are asking here.thinisaz wrote:1, can you do them? 1 is a benq (only done the check through hole when panel is off) the other i havent checked yet but its an arcade system i bought around june.
the benq can be done
if you have a lite-on dvd drive at this point it cant be flash.we are waiting on the new firmware to see what it has in it.
the only time you have to reflash is just to update to a newer firmware.most of the time that is not necessary to do.thinisaz wrote:2, do they have to be reflashed around update time to stop banning?
if you mod your box then you have broke your "tos" with xbox live.and can be banned at anytime.thinisaz wrote:3, what are the chances of getting banned?
that being said, most if not all of us get on live at one point or another and are not banned.
that is what most of the firmware updates are for .to help keep everyone from being banned.

if you have a understanding of computers then its not to bad.thinisaz wrote:4, how easy is it to do a flash?
even if you dont you do it just will take some time, reading and asking a question or two.
remember we all started at the beginning

here you go.thinisaz wrote:5, are there any step by step processes for newbies?
read over this.and then once you know your dvd drive type watch the video for your dvd drive.

this is the video for a benq dvd drive (not a lite-on)
