i have a pioneer dvr-111dbk could you tell me if this drive is any good for making back ups of original games please

well it needs to be able to burn DL disc.
i dont know that drive so i cant say for sure.
you do know that the drive is just for burnning the game you need a different drive for dumping the game.sh-d162c dvd drive with v100 firmware will dump the game.check ebay

I own a Pioneer 111D... I think its what you have. I haven't a coaster unless the disc caused a bad read.

Pioneers are generally pretty good burners. Lite-ons are pretty good also. I've had pretty good luck with Samsung burners too. But I can only attesting to the burners that I've used

i googled the top ten burners when i got mine.I got the number 2.The first one was a external.The one i got was the same dvd drive but the internal one. That been some time back now.
its a sony Dl burner
picked it up at best buy 89.00usb
