Flashing a BenQ and not waiting the two seconds?

So I followed the instructions on how to flash the firmware and when I went to read the firmware using the dben command from my bootable USB drive, I didn't power the drive down after it got to D1 and before I could power it down, it had already read the firmware and got the serial key and everything. It was EXTREMELY quick....
Did I do something wrong or is the latest iPrep Beta bypassing the need for the drive to turn off after it hits D1 and then turn it back on for 2 seconds?
Thanks
Anakin

no not really - sometimes it just goes straight in

But.. *you should always check the dump in firmware toolbox before procedding to flash*

I don't have to turn the drives off on my nforce....

as MsK says, make sure the key is good before you do anything else :D
