Are Sony dual layers compatable? I know most modded systems (ps2, gc, 360 etc) require top quality media, i just wanted to see if the sony dl that i have will work. Im pretty sure they will because sony is a decent brand. Anyone ever try them?

I would imagine they would be just fine. Most media will work, they just won't last as long as the good brands. Try one and see.

I can confirm that Sony's works in my 360. I know this aint cheap, but I picked up a 10 pack of sony's from wally world the other day for 20 bucks. Beats the other choice of a 3 pack of HP's that they had. My wally world seems to have quit carry verbatims :x

DL verbatim disks at $1.89 if you buy them by the hundred.

Me and cofree sometimes split the cost and get 50 each. Makes for a pretty good deal if you can pony up the dough.
