Serial PCI Card

I have an ASUS-P5K3 Deluxe Motherboard which unfortunately doesn't have any serial ports. With that being said I was wondering if it would be possible to use a PCI serial card to extract the drive key from the Lite-On.

Also I was wondering if the Serial Cable that comes with the CK3 Lite is just a regular serial cable.

I'm at wits end with the USB on my CK3 Pro. Either it's broken or I am. :lol:

Yes, it is quite possible to use a PCI sata card. I would say 95% of people that flash xbox's on a regular basis use one. The one they use, one with a via 6421a or l chipset.

I didn't mean a PCI SATA Card I meant a PCI Serial Card as my motherboard has no COM ports. Hypothetically like the one below:
