DVD quality

Hi,
Just a quick q - does the quality of DL DVD's matter? All my copies apart from Assassins Creed, obviously could be a crap backup, but was just wondering. Thanks.

yes well some
different people will tell you different things
All i use is verbatim.
But ive been messing with this stuff since the black xbox.With that console the dvd drives were so bad you had to use the best you could get.
on the 360 i think the best thing is to burn slow(no faster than 2.4x) with a good slow clean dump.
you need to remember you get what you pay for.
how long do you want the backup to last.just till you beat the game or do you want it to be good for a year or more.
The better disc will last longer.
