I have a ck3 lite connecivity kit and I am trying to read my Lite On drive. I am using Iprep 08.8 and have followed Cofree's vid tutorial verbatim. When I get the the power off drive, push half in,etc. part, once I power the drive on it read bad DVD-key then stops.

I know that the r707 is jumped properly. Can the ck3 lite be used with iprep? I didnt install any drivers for this because I thought it was just for ck3 pro. Do I need drivers?

you need to make sure you are in com port 1 with the cable.
you will need the driver for you sata card
that is how you will flash it in.

on not getting the key
i have to push most of the dvd drive tray about 2/3 of the way in then power back on and i get the keys then.
for some reason half way just dont work for me most of the time.

that 707 point must be right also.

I have the 6421 card and I have been using that for the Benqs, Hitachis, etc. I'm pretty sure the driver is up to date on that one. When I am in iprep setting up my pen drive, under com it reads I have either COM 1 or 2. Will the CK3 come up under Device Manager in Windows. I'm assuming that it is COM 1 that I have it hooked up to but Im not sure how to tell.

After trying multiple times on COM 1, for the heck of it I changed it I programmed the pen drive w/iprep for COM 2. Sure enough, it read the keys and flashed no problem. Everywhere I read was always saying it was COM 1 so I just assumed I was doing something wrong. Thanks for the help, Cofree! :D
